Meet Our Staff

Tom Balog began his role as Executive Director of the Lawrenceville Co-Op on January 1, 2017. He came to the Co-Op with 16 years experience working in a church environment, most recently as the church business administrator at McKendree United Methodist Church (Lawrenceville), where he remains an active member.

Tom has a Master of Divinity degree from the Candler School of Theology at Emory; his undergraduate degree is in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University.

Throughout his life, Tom has been involved with missions and working in, and with, the community. He is guided by Mark 22:37-39: “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment, and the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Dana Champagne joined the staff of the Lawrenceville Co-Op in March of 2017 as Program Manager. She trains all of our new volunteers and coordinates their scheduling to support our daily operations. You will find her working in all areas of the Co-Op, and stepping into the leadership role when the Director is serving elsewhere.

Dana was a volunteer at the Co-Op for about 7 years, beginning in 2010, and brings with her many years of experience from the human resources management field. She earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in Psychological Sciences and her Master of Business Administration in Human Resources/Information Systems from the State University of New York at Albany.

Dana, her husband and three young children are active members of St John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn. When not at the Co-Op, you may see her cruising around on her Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

She feels completely blessed for this opportunity to serve the Lord by serving others in our community.
